Hawthorn produces white blossoms followed by small red fruits, both associated with a rich botanical profile. CO₂ extraction concentrates selected lipophilic fractions from the plant material. The resulting extract is mild, vegetal and slightly fruity. It is especially suited to soothing, toning and antioxidant cosmetic formulations.
